أكد مدير مستشفى غزة الأوروبي يوسف العقاد، مساء اليوم الأربعاء، أن القطاع يدق ناقوس الخطر بعد دخول الموجة الجديدة من فيروس “كورونا”.
وقال العقاد، إنهم بدأوا العمل منذ أسابيع بإعادة الجهوزية للتعامل مع الموجة الجديدة، مشيرًا إلى أن الخدمة العلاجية التي نقدمها لا تختلف بين كافة طفرات كورونا، والأعراض التي تعاملنا معها هي نفس الأعراض السابقة.
وأوضح أنه حتى اللحظة لا يوجد لدينا أجهزة لفحص طفرة دلتا ونرسل العينات لفحصها في الخارج ليتم التأكد من الطفرة، خلال حديثه لإذاعة “صوت القدس”.
وبين أن خلية الأزمة تتابع المنحنى الوبائي وهي لديها عين على المنحنى والوضع الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، مؤكداً أن خلية الأزمة قادرة على اتخاذ القرارات المناسبة أول بأول، مضيفًا: “لدينا قدرة استيعابية جيدة في المستشفيات ونأمل ألا يتعدى حد الإصابات قدرتنا على التعامل معها”.
وطالب المواطنين بأخذ اللقاحات بأقرب وقت، ثم الالتزام بإجراءات السلامة والابتعاد عن التجمعات
