معلومات “مهمة” عن منطقة الأغوار المستهدفة إسرائيليًا
أصدر مركز التعليم البيئي التابع للكنيسة الإنجيلية اللوثرية في الأردن والأراضي المقدسة، ورقة حقائق حول الواقع البيئي للأغوار بالتزامن مع مخططات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي الهادفة إلى ضمها.
وبين المركز، أن الأغوار تشكل ربع مساحة الضفة الغربية، ويقدر الجهاز المركزي للإحصاء الفلسطيني عدد سكانها بحوالي 62854 نسمة، يتوزعون على 29 تجمعًا ثابتًا على مساحة 10 آلاف دونم، وعشرات التجمعات الرعوية والبدوية.
وأشار إلى أن مساحة الأراضي الصالحة للزراعة في الأغوار تبلغ 280 ألف دونم، أي ما نسبته 38.8% من المساحة الكلية للأغوار؛ يستغل الفلسطينيون منها 50 ألف، فيما يٌسيطر الاحتلال على 400 ألف دونم بذريعة استخدامها مناطق عسكرية بنحو 55.5% من المساحة الكلية للأغوار، وأقام 90 موقعًا عسكريًا في الأغوار منذ احتلالها و65 حقل ألغام.
وقال: إن الاحتلال أقام 36 مستوطنة في الأغوار، وغالبيتها زراعية، أقيمت على 12 ألف دونم، وألحق بها 60 ألف دونم، ويسكنها ما يقارب 9500 مستوطن.
وبين أن الأغوار الجنوبية تحوي على 91 بئرًا؛ والأغوار الوسطى تضم 68 بئرًا؛ أما الأغوار الشمالية ففيها 10 آبار، 60% منها حُفِرَت في العهد الأردني؛ وغالبًا يمنع الاحتلال تجديدها ضمن سياسة التضييق على المواطنين، ويستولى الاحتلال على معظم المياه والموارد الطبيعية في الأغوار، التي تضم نصف أجمالي المساحات الزراعية في الضفة الغربية؛ و60% من إجمالي الخضار.
وأشار إلى أن المستوطنين ينهبون 40 مليون متر مكعب من الماء سنوياً، مقابل 18 مليون متر مكعب يحصل عليها الفلسطينيون في الأغوار.
وعددت الورقة أبرز انتهاكات الاحتلال البيئية في الأغوار كنهب وعزل غالبية الأراضي، وسلب معظم مصادر المياه، وتحويل الأراضي الزراعية والمراعي والسفوح والجبال إلى حقول ألغام، وأماكن للتخلص من نفايات المستوطنات ومخلفات التدريبات، ومصادرة المحميات الطبيعية، والاستيلاء على كامل مياه نهر الأردن، وتحويل أراضي الأغوار إلى مناطق للتخلص من النفايات الطبية والخطرة، وحرق المراعي والمناطق الزراعية بفعل التدريبات العسكرية المتكررة.
ودعا المركز إلى تكثيف الاهتمام بتنمية الاغوار والحفاظ عليها، والتركيز الإعلامي على المنطقة، والتعريف بمواقعها الغنية، وإبراز وجهها الآخر الثري بالتنوع الحيوي، وتنظيم المسارات البيئية فيها، وتوجيه الرحلات المدرسية والجامعية إليها، ومسح تنوعها الحيوي، وتنفيذ مجهود إعلامي وقانوني دولي لدعم صمود أهلها من خطر الترحيل، وحماية بيئتها، والوصول إلى رقم دقيق يحول سنوات احتلالها إلى قيمة ماليه نخسرها سنويًا جراء استمرار احتلالها، ومنع الوصول إلى مصادرها الطبيعية ومواردها، والتمتع بتنوعها الحيوي الفريد كأدنى نقطة في الكرة الأرضية وكأعلى منطقة مستباحة.
