نعى ناشطون بمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي في سلطنة عُمان وفاة مواطنهم الشاب سعيد حمدان المعمري، والذي اشتهر بلقب “محارب السرطان” وذلك بعد وفاته على إثر إصابته مؤخرا بفيروس (كورونا) المستجد الذي تمكن منه نظرا لضعف مناعته.
وعبر العديد من النشطاء عن حزنهم الكبير لوفاة الشاب العماني سعيد، مشيرين في تعليقاتهم أنه حارب الثلاسيميا (اضطراب دم وراثي) ثم حارب مرض السرطان مرتين، ومات وهو يصارع فيروس (كورونا)”.
وضمن تغريدات النعي على تويتر كشفت مغردة عمانية تدعى (رجاء) تفاصيل من رحلتها مع (المعمري).
وقالت في سلسلة تغريدات نشرتها (وطن) إنها زميلته في الكلية وشاركته المرض، وبعد شفائها دأبت على تشجيعه ورفع معنوياته.
ولفتت المغردة العُمانية أيضا إلى معاناة سعيد في أيامه الأخيرة، إذ بقي أشهرا وحيدا في المستشفى بعد أزمة (كورونا)، قبل أن يصاب به ويقضي عليه بسبب مناعته الضعيفة.
