دخول الأسير ماهر الأخرس صباح اليوم الجمعة، يوم الـ103 في إضرابه المفتوح عن الطعام، رفضًا لاعتقاله الإداري، وسط تعنت سلطات الاحتلال في الإفراج عنه وإصرارها على استكمال فترة اعتقاله الإداري غير القانونية.
من جانبها، جددت هيئة شؤون الأسرى والمحررين، تحذيرها من خطورة الوضع الصحي للأخرس، محذّرة من أن الأسير معرضٌ لفقدان حياته في أي لحظة.
وحذرت الهيئة في بيان صحافي من أن الوضع الصحي للأخرس ما زال صعبًا جدًا، إذ يعاني من إعياء وإجهاد شديدين، كما تأثرت حاستا السمع والنطق لديه، ويتعرض لنوبات تشنج وألم شديد في جسده، وصداع شديد.
