تمكن الطاقم الطبي الخاص بجراحة الأوعية الدموية والجراحة الدقيقة، بمستشفى غزة الأوروبي، بقيادة الدكتور محمد كلوب استشاري أول جراحة الأوعية الدموية بمستشفى غزة الأوروبي، من اجراء عملية جراحية معقدة.
وقال الدكتور كلوب في تصريح صحفي أنه في سابقة لم تعهدها المستشفيات الفلسطينية، حضرت إلى مستشفى غزة الأوروبي مريضة في السابعة عشر من عمرها إلى قسم جراحة الأوعية الدموية، جراء معاناتها من نوبات اغماء وحالات اختناق، نتيجة ورم في الشريان السباتي في الرقبة،” يخرج من منطقة تفرع الشريان السباتي الأساسي ويصعد حتى الدماغ”، (Base of the skull) ويُحيط بكل الشرايين السباتية وجميع الأعصاب والأوردة.
وأضاف كلوب، أنه تم تشخيصها ” كـ، ورم الجسم السُباتي”، ( Carotid body tumor ””’ Class 3) ال ” ورم في تفرع الشريان السباتي من الدرجة الثالثة، وهي درجة متأخرة ويبلغ الورم طوله 8سم في عرض 5سم في عمق 4سم، ولدية تروية شريانية غنية جداً، حيث تم تشخيص الحالة ووصفها بالنادرة لأنها متآخرة، وبما أن عمر المريضة أقل من عشرين عام، حيث أن معظم هذه الأورام تأتي بعد سن الأربعين، في الخمسينات والستينات.
