إعادة فتح كنيسة المهد للصلاة والزيارة

أعلن رؤساء الكنائس الثلاثة المسؤولين عن كنيسة المهد، (بطريرك القدس للروم الأرثوذكس ثيوفيلوس الثالث، وحارس الأراضي المقدسة الأب فرانشيسكو باتون، وبطريرك القدس للأرمن نورهان مانوغيان)، عن إعادة فتح أبواب الكنيسة ابتداء اليوم الثلاثاء، لإتاحة وصول المؤمنين من جديد إلى هذا المكان المقدس للصلاة والزيارة.

وأوضح البيان الصادر عن رؤساء الكنائس الثلاثة، “أنه لدواعي السلامة ومن أجل تجنب خطر انتشار فيروس كوفيد-19 مرة أخرى، سيقتصر عدد المؤمنين والزوار على 50 شخصا، وسيُتاح الوصول إلى الكنيسة لمَنْ لا يُعاني من الحمُى أو أعراض المرض ويرتدي كمامة الوجه”.

وأضاف البيان أنه من الضروري إبقاء مسافة لا تقل عن مترين بين كل شخص وآخر، وتجنب العبادة التي ينطوي عليها الاتصال الجسدي كلمس وتقبيل الأحجار والأيقونات والملابس والعاملين في الكنيسة، فضلا عن التقيّد الدائم بالتعليمات المُعطاة.
