ورفع النصر رصيده إلى 7 نقاط في الصدارة متقدمًا بفارق نقطتين عن السد صاحب المركز الثاني، بينما تجمد رصيد الفريق الإيراني عند 3 نقاط في المركز الثالث وظل العين في ذيل الترتيب.
وسجل المهاجم المغربي حمد الله هدفين بواقع هدف في كل شوط، حيث وضع النصر في المقدمة بضربة رأس في الدقيقة 29 إثر تمريرة عرضية من ركلة حرة نفذها الوافد الجديد الأرجنتيني غونزالو مارتينيز.
وعزز حمد الله النتيجة بعد 3 دقائق من بداية الشوط الثاني عندما وصلته الكرة إثر ارتطامها بزميله خالد الغنام ليسدد في الشباك من مدى قريب.
وتقام المباريات المتبقية من دور المجموعات وأدوار خروج المغلوب لمنطقة غرب آسيا في العاصمة القطرية ضمن إجراءات صحية للوقاية من فيروس كورونا.
وتقام الجولة الرابعة من منافسات المجموعة، يوم الجمعة المقبل، حيث يلتقي السد مع العين والنصر مع سباهان مرة أخرى.
